Visiting Turkish Ambassador to New Zealand Ugur Ergunis is to meet with the Cook Islands Prime Minister Jim Marurai and Foreign Affairs Minister Wilkie Rasmussen today .
This is Ergunis' first visit to the Cook Islands and its understood official discussions will focus on matters of mutual interest.
The Ambassador will be here until Friday.
